Tomales Bay entrance has mixed semidiurnal tides — two highs and two lows a day of noticeably different sizes — this week the paired highs differ by 1.1 ft on average and the lows by 1.5 ft. Times shift roughly 50 minutes later each day as the moon advances, which is why a printable weekly or monthly table is more useful than a single day's times.
